Keto Bagels

These bagels have a nice chewy texture; the outside is golden brown and crispy, yet the inside is soft and perfect for toasting.

Ingredients
  

- 2 cups almond flour

- 1 tablespoon baking powder

- 1 ½ teaspoons garlic powder (optional)

- 1 ½ teaspoons onion powder (optional)

- 1 ½ teaspoons sesame seeds (optional, for topping)

- ½ teaspoon salt

- 2 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, shredded

- 2 ounces cream cheese

- 3 large eggs

Instructions
 

Set the oven temperature to 400°F, or 200°C. Use parchment paper to line a baking sheet.

    Put almond flour, baking powder, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, onion powder, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl. Mix well.

      Melt the cream cheese and mozzarella cheese together in a different microwave-safe bowl. You can microwave this in small bursts, stirring in between each time until it melts completely.

        Add the dry ingredients with the melted cheese mixture. Stir thoroughly until fully combined.

          Until the dough is smooth and sticky, beat in the eggs one at a time.

            Form each of the six equal portions of dough into a ball. To make bagel shapes, roll each ball into a ring.

              Put the bagels on the baking sheet that has been ready. If preferred, top with more sesame or poppy seeds and brush the tops with beaten egg.

                Bake the bagels for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are golden brown, in a preheated oven.

                  Let the bagels cool slightly before cutting and serving on a platter.
